Content: An In Season landing page changed periodically based on the fruits and vegetables currently available. I partnered with Category Marketing to promote citrus both online and in-stores. The page included links to articles (Citrus 101) and slideshows of recipes (savory and sweet citrus dishes). The Stock Up on Citrus tile directed customers to a page which included citrus purchasing tips and profiles of local farmers who partner with Walmart.

Content: Because football was huge for Walmart customers, we built an entire landing page around it. For Super Bowl 2014, we were delighted to partner with Hillshire Farm, who cleverly conceived 12 Party Animals using their Lit’l Smokies sausages. We took it one step further by producing vine videos of the little fellas in action. The videos were tweeted by Hillshire Farm prior to Super Bowl Sunday. On this page, I also added other football-related content (Game Time party food and budget-minded decorating ideas).

I created this slideshow which highlights various smoothie recipes; customers can also link to juicing recipes within the main copy block. I curated like-content on this page: Healthy Starts to Your Day on the right, and You May Also Like recipes at the bottom of the page.

I posted similar articles to the right of the page, and links to citrus recipes at the bottom of the page.

Because they did not have content, I partnered with our on-staff writer. Together, we brainstormed ideas on how to incorporate Easy-Off’s product line. I aligned with the company’s overarching message at the time which was “Getting Ready for Guests”. I worked with our business partner Contently and gave editorial direction to one of their writers who wrote the piece. The image was sourced from one of our photo shoots.

Content: Febreze approached us and wanted to sponsor content for the month of December. They wanted to promote their line of room- and linen-freshening scents, but did not have content of their own. I worked with our writer, who reviewed the products and came up with this article. I also teamed up with our photo art director to review images from a holiday photo shoot, and chose this one.

The Site Merchandising team was looking for new content to add to the page, and I came up with “Decal-orate Your Room”. It was all about decorating on a dime by adding fun decals. I worked with the writer and designer to come up with copy and imagery.

Content: Part of the Kids’ Furniture page redesign, these helpful tips centered around creative storage solutions. We wanted to convey that storage is more than just sterile-clear bins by featuring colorful units that stack or slide under the bed.
